Doug Schneider is a CPGA Class “A” Head Professional

Doug began playing golf 23 years ago at the Fredericton Golf & Curling Club. His golfing experience has taken him to Europe, United States and throughout Canada. Doug started his professional career in 1995 at Glen Meadows Golf & Curling Club in Victoria. He has worked at the much respected Gorge Vale Golf Club in Victoria and at the Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed Rivershore Golf Links in Kamloops where he worked as an academy instructor for 3 years. With 12 years of teaching experience behind him, he has now settled down in Kimberley, BC at one of Canada's Best Golf Courses - Trickle Creek Golf Resort as Head Golf Professional.

Doug believes in his experiences as an athlete, helped him grow as a professional golfer. His aim is to teach more than just the fundamentals and mechanics by focusing on the student as an individual. Each has their own style and he will work to develop their own natural swing.

Golf Academy
Doug is serious about giving you personal instruction. Either start with the Full (10) or Half (5) package and you will receive intensive training during your summer months at the Academy. This offer is limited to 10 students per package.

You will receive in-depth instruction on: grip and stance, the full swing, the short game, the sand game, putting, and correcting trouble shots. You will learn how to develop your own shot strategies, read greens, and handle various types of lies. You will learn how to develop your skills to become a better all-around golfer.

Private Lessons

• 1 Person (30 Min) =$40
• 3 lessons (3x30Min)=$100

• 1 Person (60 Min)=$60
• 3 lessons (3x60Min)=$160

• Semi Private (2)-60min =$35pp
• (2)-3x60Min=$80pp

• 3 people or more (60Min)=$25pp

Video lessons are available at the cost of an additional $10 to the regular lesson fee.

Golf Clinics

• Maximum of 4 students per clinic (create your own clinic)
• 5 hours of instruction over a 5 week period
• Women only, Junior only, Senior only, Coed only clinics
• Two levels available: Beginner and Intermediate. Advanced players may
consider playing lessons or private lessons.
• $60 per person
• All clinics can be customized to meet the needs of your group needs.

Playing Lessons

Playing lessons cover topics such as: course management, shot options, mental game, rules, and etiquette. Topics covered are dependent on experience and skill level.
• 1 Person(9 holes) $100
• 2 People (9 holes) $70pp
• 3 People (9 holes) $40pp
Options are available for fewer holes played.

Junior Lessons

• 1 person (30Min)=$30
• 3x30Min=$70
• Semi-private (2)(30Min)=$20pp
• (2) 3x30Min=$45pp
• 3 or more (60Min)=$35pp
• 3x60Min=$40pp

Payment and Cancellation
• All programs are to be paid upon registration and/or reserved with a credit card.
• 24 hours notice is required for all cancellations to avoid charges.
• All lessons are valid during the season of the year purchased.
